Unfortunately most GPO's do not have ITEM LEVEL TARGETING as an option and that includes CACHED EXCHANGE MODE GPO To this, you simple need to set ITEM LEVEL TARGETING.

(By default, Cached Exchange Mode is disabled.) Choose a default download option on the Cached Mode tab GPO to disable Cached Exchange Mode - Spicework Click Configure Cached Exchange Mode, and select the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box to enable Cached Exchange Mode for users. But, a great deal of my users' work is done on a Remote Desktop server - in fact, the RDS server is the only access that some of them have Click the Cached Mode tab.

I have deployed the GPO to disable Cached Exchange Mode under the path: User Config > Policies > Admin Templates > Microsoft Outlook 2013 > Account Settings > Exchange > Cached Exchange Mode Microsoft makes it easy to allow, disallow, or force Cached Exchange Mode for Outlook by using the Office GPO user settings. Currently Cached Exchange Mode is enabled by default in Outlook on each of these Windows 7 machines running Office 2013 from Office 365.
